Hi! I'm Nina Fuselier. My husband, Bret, and I are the proud parents of one daughter, Megan. You can find us on some sort of ball field most days of the week. I am self-employed, wear many hats as Mom/Wife, and am caregiver for my uncle who is battling renal cell cancer. I seem to always have a full plate and run on empty most days.

On a prayer and a whim, I found exactly where my heart belonged. Initially, Give A Wish caught my attention in its purpose to grant a wish in the lives of kids battling to give another breath and effort each day. Yet, it assuredly won over my heart when I met our wish kids and saw that all-too-familiar smile that all will be OK - if only for a day. Give A Wish brings blessing to not only the wish kid, but also the blessing of sheer joy to someone like me who was simply looking to volunteer.

Hi! I'm Tyra Banks

Hi! I'm Jacquelle Manual. I am a veteran teacher working on 37 years and retiring in Dec.!! I have 2 daughters and 5 grandsons that are my heart and soul!

My dream, when I retire, was to rock sick and abandoned babies in the hospital so they would know they were loved. This concept is inspired to me by Mother Teresa's actions and life long dedication to the homeless, unwanted, hungry and sick.

I signed up to volunteer for Give A Wish as soon as Paula Livingston told me what she was doing!! The mission of this group is one of the things I was searching for in helping sick children. We have a wonderful group of people that work together in giving wishes and the rewards are so fulfilling! The smiles and hugs of the kids and the happy tears of the parents tells me I am in the right organization! I am so lucky and blessed to have those children enter my life, they make me a better person!

Hi! I'm Paula All

Hi, I'm Barbara Lavan. I chose to become a volunteer with GAW to be a part of making dreams come true for others in a way that would exceed their expectations. When a wish is granted, and you're able to see the expressions on the faces of the recipients and/or family members, I'm reassured that, no matter how big or small the contribution is that I'm able to make, a difference has been made in their lives, and I'm thankful to have been a part of it.

Hi! I'm Deanna Dowden

Hello, my name is Nicole Hidalgo. I've been a resident of Sulphur, La for nearly 6 years and have two children, Sarah and Seth . A few years ago I bumped into Paula Livingston and commended her on her hard work to grant wishes for children. She really encouraged me to get involved but I was planning a distant move at the time so I wasn't able.

My move didn't take place and I kept thinking about my conversation with Paula a few years prior and the excitement she displayed as she spoke about granting wishes for kids. I attended my first event in January 2016 and since.....well, I seriously can't get enough. It is such a pleasing feeling to take part in making someone smile. Not only our wish kids, but everyone involved, their family, friends, volunteers, as well as the business owners and their employees. I love watching our community come together with ease in addition to sharing such a wonderful experience with my kids along the way. Thank you Give A Wish!

Hi, my name is Arica Reed, I started volunteering for Give A Wish after a tragic event in my life. Volunteering has been a healing experience for me. The hard work and dedication that is put into each wish is all worth seeing the kids faces when we tell them that their wish is coming true. I'm so proud to be part the Give A Wish team .

Hi! I'm Tiffney Bergeron. I have always wanted to be involved in an organization that helps children. The opportunity never crossed my path until I became friends with Paula All. (Thanks Paula!) She invited me to the first meeting and I instantly knew that this was something I was destined to do. And with Mrs. Paula Livingston being the backbone behind the organization, I knew this would be the best opportunity to help children out in need. I am so proud to be a volunteer for Give A Wish. I tell everyone about how much I love the organization and what we do for children. I'm also mom to a 4 year old little boy named Silas.

Hi, I'm Regan Landry.

My name is Amy Veuleman and Im from Lake Charles, LA. My oldest son, Harrison is a wish child. As a parent of a recipient, I was able to feel how much it means to the entire family when a wish is granted. After our wish trip in October of 2013 I decided to continue the mission of the Give A Wish program by becoming a volunteer. I am able to share our experience and help others have a memorable and meaningful wish trip as well. My heart has always been rooted in philanthropy and Im honored to be a part of the Give A Wish family. Amy Veuleman, M.A., Ed.S. McNeese State University Instructor, Dept. of Mass Communication Lake Charles, LA 70605 My name is Kim LaBuff. I became involved with Give A Wish when I saw the wonderful experience it provided for Zach, the first wish recipient. My son, Ian, was on the travel baseball team with Zach prior to his cardiac episode. After I witnessed first hand the lengths Paula and the volunteers went through to make Zach's wish come true, I wanted to help in any way I could.

I enjoy volunteering for Give A Wish with my daughter, Isabel. I am honored to be the co-director of our Give A Wish benefit pageant and love providing our queens with the opportunity to help grant wishes!
