Shelby
Shelby is a 17 year old girl born April 23, 2002 with a diagnosis at birth of Pierre Robin Syndrome (Cerebro Costo Mandibular Syndrome). Issues associated with this syndrome include cognitive hearing loss, short palate, recessed bottom jaw requiring a feeding tube, kyphosis and scoliosis of the spine. At the age of 2 Shelby had a spinal fusion surgery on her back that left her paralyzed from the waist down and she is unable to walk. Shelby utilizes a power wheelchair for mobility. Shelby loves to watch the voice and loves Blake Shelton’s music and watching him on the show and would love to see him in person.
