Chloe
Chloe got sick December 16th 2012. By the time they figured out it was MRSA she was already sceptic. The MRSA got into her heart valve and it started leaking spreading the emboli to all of her organs and settled in her brain causing swelling and 2 aneurisms. We were at Children’s in New Orleans a total of 98 days 58 days in PICU. She had 4 brain surgeries and several other surgeries and procedures. There will also be a surgery in the near future to correct scoliosis caused by atrophy. Chloe has physical therapy and speech therapy twice a week at school. She also has PT and OP once a week at the hospital.
We can only hope and pray that she can regain some of her speech and body movements. Chloe communicated with us, with a "thumbs up and thumbs down" to let us know, she wants to go to Sea World for her wish. She even blew us a kiss to show her appreciation for a small stuffed animal we brought her at her interview.
