Charlee
Charlee was born on June 8, 2015 weighing 5lbs 4oz. She was born with myelomeningocele "Spina Bifida", hydrocephalus, and Chiari malformation type II. At 2 days old she underwent surgery to close the opening in her lower back. At 9 days a old she underwent a VP shunt placement to help normalize the fluid build up from the Hydrocephalus. We were sent home after spending 12 days on the NICU. We found out through the last three years that she also has several other health conditions. But she has never let her disablility define her. She is a loving and happy 4 year old who loves to smile, laugh, play with her siblings, dress up, and watch Disney Junior.
